The Magic Hand Ltd website contains information about its goods and services, which you (the purchaser) will need to know before you place your order with us. Please review the information listed below to complete a contract with us.

The information about our goods and services, which is detailed on our website thereby constitutes an “invitation to treat” and is not a contractual offer from us which you may accept. We reserve the right to correct any errors that may appear in this information without liability to you and to make changes to the features, functionality or content of our website at any time. In no circumstances, will we be “contractually bound” to supply you with our goods or services offered on the basis of any incorrect information, even if that information is repeated in your order.

DELIVERY CHARGE
The items listed in our webstie galleries are subject to a standard delivery charge according to their weight and final destination (unless otherwise indicated). The Delivery Charge forms part of the total payment due for any goods purchased from Magic Hand Ltd. You can view the Delivery Charge details, which are listed in the item’s description, once you have clicked to view the item page. If a Delivery Charge quotation is indicated, please contact us via email at: info@magichand.co.uk or call: 020 8800 3377 and we will be happy to give you the ‘Delivery Charge quotation amount’ for the item(s) that you have chosen to purchase. Please note: a combined Delivery Charge can be arranged, if you purchase more than one item.
If you are choosing to buy online, first enter the Delivery Charge quotation amount for each item on our website, where indicated on ‘the item page’, before you proceed to place your order with PayPal – our secure online encrypted payment facility. For all other payment methods, you will need to add the Delivery Charge quotation amount to the item’s price for the total amount payable. Alternatively, you are welcome to collect your purchased item(s) from Magic Hand Ltd and therefore save on the delivery charge. This pick-up service can be requested and arranged with us by appointment only.
PAYMENT
Payments for our goods and services can proceed in the following ways:
CHEQUE
We accept payment as a sterling cheque made payable to: Magic Hand Ltd. Simply post us the details of the item(s) that you wish to order (including the item(s) stock reference number) together with your name and delivery address details and enclose your cheque for the total amount, that will include the Delivery Charge quotation and the full item price. Please send your order and payment to: Magic Hand Ltd, OCC, 105 Eade Road, London N4 1TJ. Please note that cheque payments will take approximately 6 working days for funds to clear through the banking system, so please be patient.
TELEPHONE
Please feel free to call us on: 020 8800 3377 if you prefer the personal touch, and we will be happy to take your name, delivery address and payment details over the phone. We accept payment through all of the major credit and debit cards. Please note that your credit or debit card payments will be processed immediately. Once your payment details have been ‘authorised’, the confirmation of payment receipt for the transaction will be attached to your invoice/receipt and delivered with the item that you have purchased.
?ONLINE USING PAYPAL?The PayPal online buying option is viewed on ‘the item page’. First, enter the Delivery Charge quotation where indicated. Then, simply click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button and you will be directed to Magic Hand Ltd’s secure encrypted web link with PayPal. Your shopping basket window will appear, so that you can view the details of the item(s) that you have chosen to purchase. This will include the description, the price and the subtotal for your selected item(s). The Delivery Charge quotation amount (see above ‘Delivery Charge’) that you have entered previously, where indicated, on ‘the item page’ on our website, will now appear in the ‘postage and packing’ section of your PayPal shopping basket window. As the purchaser, you are able to check and subsequently edit, the contents of your shopping basket. You can delete any input errors by removing items or changing the quantities. ?When you have confirmed that the right item(s) you wish to purchase is in your shopping basket and you wish to proceed with the order, the easiest way forward is to make the purchase online using PayPal, which is a safe, secure and efficient method of payment. To buy the items listed in your shopping basket and continue with your online order, click the ‘proceed to checkout’ button. Please note: PayPal (Europe) Ltd is authorised and regulated in the UK by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and is, therefore, a confirmed secure online purchasing facility.
Once you have purchased your chosen item(s) using your credit or debit card via the PayPal account facility, a sum of electronic money, equivalent to your purchase amount, is issued by PayPal and credited to the Magic Hand Ltd account as payment. Your credit or debit card statement will therefore show PayPal as the recipient for your payment and not Magic Hand Ltd, from whom you have purchased the goods or services. Please note: that credit card payments will take approximately 10 working days for funds to clear via PayPal, so please be patient.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF YOUR PAYMENT
You may be contacted by our payment processing service to advise you as to whether or not your credit or debit card payment has been authorised. However, this acknowledgement relates to your payment only and is neither an order confirmation nor an order acceptance from Magic Hand Ltd. ?
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
We will request that you (the purchaser) provide certain information to enable us to process your order, such as your preferred delivery address, telephone number, email address and payment details. It is your responsibility to provide us with sufficient information to enable us to process your order.
You may not assume that we have accepted your order until we contact you, either by email or telephone, with a ‘confirmation of acceptance’. Only if, and when, you receive our ‘confirmation of acceptance’ of your order, will the completion of the contract between you and us take place. We may not accept your order if your credit or debit card payment has not been ‘authorised’ or we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment, such as a bounced cheque. We will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if, in our sole discretion, we consider it necessary. In particular, we must receive your payment in full for the total price of the goods that you order, before your order can be accepted. If we refuse your order we will notify you as soon as we can. If we accept your order we will inform you without undue delay.
Once we have entered into a contract with you we shall supply you with the items specified in your order, in accordance with the terms of the contract. The completion of the contract between you and us will take place, when we have dispatched the goods ordered by you.
DELIVERY OF GOODS
The goods will be delivered to the delivery address that you gave us, when you originally placed your order. You will be informed by email, once your order has been dispatched, stating details of the courier used and the consignment note number. Your desptatched order can be tracked using the internet. A signature will be required upon receipt of delivery of your order (subject to the correct address being entered when placing your order). If you are out when the delivery arrives a card, notifying you of the courier’s contact details and requesting a response within 7 days, will be left for you. Failure to respond to the couriers card within the allotted 7 days, will result in your purchase being returned to us, thereby incurring an additional postage charge
You will assume ownership of the goods that you have ordered upon receipt of delivery. Once the goods have been delivered to you, they will then be held at your own risk and Magic Hand Ltd will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Magic Hand Ltd uses third-party, independent carriers to deliver its goods. While we endeavour to ensure that all our goods are delivered within 3-7 working days (UK only) after dispatch from our premises, (exceptions being the Christmas ‘rush’ period), we do not accept any liability whatsoever or offer any additional compensation if the goods are not delivered within this time frame. We shall have no liability to you for delayed delivery, or for any failure to deliver the goods that you have ordered, or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control or by any third party including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
ADDITIONAL PURCHASE DUTIES AND TAXES
Deliveries despatched and shipped to Europe and worldwide destinations will usually arrive within 10-15 working days. You are solely responsible and liable for observing and complying with any applicable regulations, legislations, custom duties, levies or additional taxes that may affect your purchase or are payable at any foreign port as a result of delivery of goods; or for any charges that are due in your country outside of the UK. You shall not be entitled to cancel your order on the basis of any unforeseen duties or levies.
Certain national laws may prohibit the importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all our liability to you for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) arising out of any problem relating to the goods that you buy from us other than those listed in our rights to cancel the contract.
RETURNS
If you wish to return your purchase, please notify us via email at: info@magichand.co.uk or call: 020 8800 3377 within 24 hours upon receipt of delivery, stating as to your intention of returning the goods and the reason for doing so. The goods must be returned undamaged and in their original condition. Once we confirm acceptance of your pending return delivery, it is then your responsibility to securely package your purchase and return the item at your expense, within 14 days. Please ensure that you obtain a receipt and proof of postage and that the returned item is adequately insured. Once we have received the item and we are satisfied that it has been returned in the same condition as it was dispatched, will issue a refund for the purchase price less our delivery charges.
DAMAGED GOODS
Please check all goods carefully as soon as you receive them. In the unlikely event that an item is delivered as damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, please notify us within 14 days of receipt. When notified of damages or faults by you (the purchaser), we will arrange for our courier to collect your purchase. Following our inspection of the said damaged or faulty item on its return, a replacement item or a full refund for the amount paid by you for the goods will be issued.
If on arrival the packaging is damaged, please ensure that this is marked on the courier’s delivery note, as we are unable to pursue any claims against them if the delivery was marked as received in good condition.
CONTRACT CANCELLATION
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if the item(s) you have ordered are unavailable for any reason or we are unable to or do not deliver to your area or country or that the item(s) you ordered were listed at an incorrect price due to an unforseen typographical error or an error in the pricing information. If we do cancel your contract for any of these reasons, we will notify you either by email or telephone and provide you with a full refund. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered. If a court does decide we are liable to pay you compensation, then that compensation will be limited to the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
IMAGE QUALITY
Image quality on our website is very important. While every effort is made to accurately reproduce the colours of each item displayed on our website, a computer monitor cannot portray the softness and suppleness of the wool, the tightness of the weave, the rug’s overall hand-woven finish and fineness, or the beauty and accuracy of the colors. Therefore, we do not accept any responsibility if there is a misrepresentation of colour and that our items cannot be construed as faulty should the colour vary from the colour, brightness and contrast settings displayed by your computer screen. Should you still wish to return your item for a refund, however, they will not be deemed faulty and you will be responsible for the return delivery costs.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to purchase goods on this website and to lawfully enter into and conclude contracts on this website under English law: you must be the holder of a valid credit or debit card; you guarantee that the personal information you provide as a customer is true, accurate and current in all respects.
